阿尔泰州立大学的简介




Altai State University (the city of Barnaul, the south of Western Siberia, Russia) is a federal state budget educational establishment of higher professional education. Altai State University, founded in 1973, became the pioneer of classical education in Altai Region. Today the University is:
- one of the biggest educational and scientific centers of Siberia, a participant of the QS University Rankings: BRICS and a participant of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization University (uni-sco.com);
- one of the most inviting universities in Siberia for international and out-of-town students (the opportunity of the free education for international students; 191 agreements with foreign universities; the percentage of the international students is 8% and this amount annually grows by 50%).
University research priorities are early diagnosis of cancer, production of medicines, bioengineering, agricultural biotechnology, space monitoring and computer engineering, archeology and biodiversity. ASU is the basic ground of: the Russian-American Anti-Cancer Center, which was created in collaboration with the Arizona State University, 16 innovative Laboratories under the supervision of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the 5th meeting of Ministers of Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries in 2014, and the meetings of the Association of Asian Universities, which includes 28 Asian universities (www.aauniv.org).
